McDonald's Marketing in the Field

A few weeks ago McDonald's decided to try a newer type of advertising: a corn-maze advertising a new coffee product.

I'm not sure if marketing that product was the wisest thing to do, given the decline in expensive coffee purchases (like with Starbucks). However, the idea behind it was quite interesting and innovative.

The lesson we can take from it is this: when there are millions of ads out there competing for your desired customers attention, do something different!

Just do a google or askjeeves search to find out more about it.
